A Storm on the Horizon
Burning of Evermare
During the Conquest of Evermare and the Exodus from Evermare (made by the fleeing Halflings) the Grand Army of the Orcish Confederation (Ogar) during their looting, began to burn the landscape of Evermare.
Originally only the Eastern portion of Evermare (bordering Elwynn and Westfall) was burned but as the Orcs pushed forward and moved Westward in their conquest more and more of Evermare was burned and soon the entirety of Evermare was burning as the Orcs left triumphantly with their loot returning to Orcanum, but this would only be the Start of the true war to come.
In the Aftermath of the Burning, all of Evermare was destroyed and reduced to that of a smoldering and nearly impassable mound of rubble. Parts of Evermare still burn from coal fires and cracked fissures which spray up steaming water, because of this most of Evermare is uninhabited, however, bandits, Gnolls, Orcs, Trolls, and Ogres do make us of the lands edges. Due to the rather unstable nature of Evermare Trade does not flow through or into Evermare, and instead trade moves north of Evermare in Lous before crossing the Falmar at Weatherly and entering Tavarith.
